This centre was originally opened in February 2003 by a private educator. We became a part of the Goodstart Early Learning family in 2005 and we have continued to grow and prosper each year. Our centre has a homey feel and families are guaranteed of our commitment to themselves and their children.
Goodstart Early Learning Learning Centres is now owned by GoodStart, a not for profit organisation consisting of four major charities: The Benevolent Society, Mission Australia, Brotherhood of St Laurence and Social Ventures Australia. This is the beginning of an exciting new time for Goodstart Early Learning Learning, and I feel privileged to be a part of it.
Our centre has four rooms with a capacity of 15 children in each per day. The centre takes a total of 60 bookings per day. There are two yards for play: one for the under threes and the other for the over three year old children. Siblings at the centre are able to mix during family grouping times.
Our staff are a great mix of young and older child care professionals, who together have a wealth of experience. They have qualifications ranging from Certificate III in Children’s Services to Diploma of Childcare. We have some staff in training to further their qualifications and all staff have their First Aid Certificates and anaphylaxis training.
We welcome you to visit our centre for a tour. I look forward to meeting you.
