Here at ABC Toormina all our teachers and carers have a real passion for making each moment meaningful. They continually encourage and support the children to participate in a range of different experiences in their environment so that they are stimulated and challenged.

Being conveniently located close to the University and TAFE and between Centro Toormina and Coffs Harbour itself, our program is flexible enough to cater to all our different family's needs.

We celebrate families and welcome them into the rooms and centre for visits and special celebrations, including; Grandparents week, Mothers week, Fathers week, Graduation, Christmas, Crazy day and other themed days.

We have a strong sense of community at ABC Toormina and have raised a lot of money and support together for charities and causes relevant to the families here.

My name is Marissa Moore and I have been fortunate enough to be the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Toormina since we opened in 2007. I have been in the childcare industry for almost 20 years and I am really enjoying working with the amazing children, staff and families here at Toormina.

I completed my Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood at the University of Western Sydney in 1997 and I believe strongly in providing a safe, caring and interesting environment for children to learn, develop and grow. That way they can feel secure and confident enough to explore, experiment and even make mistakes.

Being a parent myself I am strongly committed to supporting parents and families and working in a partnership with them to provide the best care for their children. That's why I have worked hard to make sure that at Goodstart Early LearningToormina we are a family not just a Centre.
