Travelling by car The centre is on the corner of the Great Eastern Highway and Gatacre Drive, you enter from the Great Eastern Highway at the traffic lights turn left, you will see our Goodstart Early Learning sign, our entrance is 20 meters along the road.

Parking We have a large car park with more than forty parking bays and one disabled bay.
Goodstart Early Learning Somerville is located in the Goldfields, we have a very transient population here so many of our families do not stay for very long, but as we are the only Goodstart centre here demand for positions at our centre are high as our reputation precedes us.

Our staff pride themselves on creating programs that give children a strong sense of identity, well-being, confident and involved learners. They acknowledge that children learn in a variety of ways and vary in their capabilities and pace of learning. We encourage children to have fun in a safe, secure and well supervised environment. We make sure that we build strong friendships with families and include them in all our special events.

My name is Dale Watson, I am proud to be the Centre Director of this beautiful centre.  I have worked here for the last four months.

I have a really caring and loving team of staff with many years experience in the childcare industry.

I have achieved a great relationship with all of our families, which makes for a very happy centre.  I believe children should be nurtured and that the learning experiences offered are inclusive of all the children and should be culturally appropriate.

I have lived in the Goldfields for 32 years and I have worked in childcare for 11 years.  I gained my Diploma in Children's services in 2006 through the National Institute of Early Childhood Education.
