Goostart Early Learning Shailer Park is a purpose built, 75 place long day care centre that opened on 29th March 2004. Centre Director, Kristy Morgan and 2IC, Jo Steinheuer have been at the centre since it opened.  The majority of the remaining staff have been at the centre for over three years and we experience a very low staff turnover at the centre. The centre operates between 6.30am and 6.30pm weekdays (excluding public holidays) and caters for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. The centre provides nappies and wipes. 

Throughout the year we have many events and activities which the children thoroughly enjoy. We have shows approximately every two months which range from dental awareness to marionettes to African dance shows! We also run a two week Chicken Hatching Program where children are able to see chickens hatching from the egg and learn how to care for and feed these baby animals. 

At Christmas time every year, we host a large centre Christmas Party in the evening, and families always have a fantastic night. We have entertainment and a visit from Santa. Working with children is our passion at Goodstart Shailer Park.
