Parking We have family parking directly outside our centre's front entrance for easy access.
Our centre has been operating as Goodstart Early Learning Parkwood since 2005. We cater for children aged 15 months to 6 years in our Long Day Care Service and also provide Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs for school aged children.

Our beautiful cottage style centre has a warm homey feeling and is built over an acre, providing a spectacular natural playground for the children to experience.

The centre rooms are individualised with colourful displays of the children's artworks and relevant information about routines, programs, staffing and child relevant topics.The centre's programs educate through play based experiences which encourage skill development in all areas. Each program is age appropriate and based on children's needs, strengths and interests. We also have a Pre-School program that prepares our children for school.  

Our families thoroughly enjoy coming together for centre events such as morning and afternoon teas, graduations and Christmas events. We also have an array entertainment scheduled throughout the year such as animal shows, puppet shows and multicultural programs like the Indian and African Show. 

Our staff have a combined experience of over 30 years in the childcare industry and most have been teaching in this particular centre for over three years. Each of our individual teachers have a warm rapport with families and children and make a great effort to communicate daily on arrival and departure. We strive to ensure each child's time at Goodstart Parkwood is a safe, happy, enjoyable and educational experience.

Hi my name is Kate and I have been working as the Centre Director since June 2008. Prior to working at Goodstart Early Learning Parkwood Woodlands Way, I started up one of Goodstart Early Learning's newly built centres in Sydney, also as a Centre Director. 

I have my Diploma of Children's Services and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education), to further my skills and knowledge in early childhood. I have a real passion for working with children in the early years and have spent my career working with a variety of age groups from Nursery to Preschool aged children.

My love of teaching and my 20 years experience in dance combine in my work teaching dance to children aged 2- 16 years for various dance companies in Sydney and on NSW central coast.

I am so very proud to be directing a fantastic team and overseeing such a high quality service, which promotes a safe, warm and educational environment for all children and families.
