Public transport is right on our doorstep, with a bus stop outside our front door.  Our centre teachers and carers are qualified childcare workers and show a true love and devotion to all our children.

They actively encourage the children to have fun and build friendships in a safe, secure, well supervised and well equipped environment.

We enjoy sharing special events with our families, these events include Preschool Graduation, Grandparent's Day, Mother's and Father's day morning teas and our Christmas party.

The children also participate in many incursions during the year, such as Kindy Farm, Kinda Dance and Multicultural Visitors.

At the centre we are currently implementing The Early Years Learning Framework. This implementation has seen all of the children embark on many fun and exciting projects.

The favourite project at the moment is the planting of many different types of seedlings. Children are caring for these plants and are hoping to use the crops in some cooking activities.

We ensure all families and children gain as  much as they can from their time at Goodstart Early Learning Miranda just as much as the teaches gain from them. We look forward to meeting you all!
Melissa McDonald
Centre Director
My name is Melissa McDonald and I am the Centre Director of Goodstart Early Learning Miranda. I have always loved working with children.

I have over 10 years teaching experience in the Early Childhood sector. I hold a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Teaching from the University of Wollongong.

Through my role at Goodstart Miranda, I support the amazing teaching staff, children and families at our service.  Along with the our Teachers, I strive to provide a learning environment that is exciting, diverse, safe and fun for all children.

I also view my role as a support person for our families. Through our association with local support groups, training organisations and relevant government authorities, we provide up to date information on issues relevant to young families.

All the staff at Goodstart Miranda look forward to getting to know you and your family.
