We here at Goodstart Early Learning Golden Square are passionate about delivering early childhood programs and care to the very highest standard.  We have recently been through the Accreditation process and have achieved recognition as a high quality service.  This is a direct reflection on our dedicated early childhood educators and the hard work they put in to our care environments and learning programs. 

We rely heavily on the Early Years Learning framework to guide our practises.  This framework gives us the tools to help your child in developing a strong sense of identity and well being, to become connected to and contribute to their world, to guide them in becoming effective communicators and most importantly, confident and involved learners.We are a large centre, with 8 care rooms caring for little ones from 6 weeks to 6 years.  Despite being such a large centre we work hard to maintain that close and familiar relationship between educators, families and children.  Each child is placed in to a care environment after a meeting with educators, families and the child. 

We discuss the strengths, needs and wants that are specific to your child and together decide on which room and staff team will be the best fit for your child and family.  Children learn at different rates, in different ways and at different times.  We believe that the flexibility of our services caters to that perfectly.

We have regular orders of resources and fortnightly visits from handymen to make sure our environments are always well resourced and hazard free.  All our yards are filled with age appropriate equipment so you can feel assured that your child will be constantly challenged in a safe, risk controlled environment.

We have regular incursions from all kinds of groups in the community, and have an open door policy that we encourage our families to take advantage of as often as they can.  On top of the fun and exciting daily experiences offered we also have a range of learning days, parent and friends afternoon and morning tea, information sessions, dress up days and lots of other exciting things to enjoy.

Hi, my name is Emily and I’m the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Golden Square. I’ve been here since February 2010, and so far have had a great time getting to know all the staff, children and families.

I’ve been working in the childcare industry for the past six years, beginning my career as an Assistant and working my way up to Director. I’ve Directed at two other Goodstart Early Learning Centres prior to this one, both of which reached High Quality Accreditation status during my time there. 

I am passionate about child guided emergent programming and inclusive care environments. I regularly attend professional development training and seminars to make sure my skills and knowledge are as cutting edge as possible, and to have the opportunity to pass on this knowledge to my team. 

I love working with children, and will do everything in my power to make sure Goodstart Early Learning Golden Square is supporting both your child and your entire family to the highest standards.
