Travelling by car Our Centre is on the corner of Cobra and Palmer Streets. This is a very busy intersection and the entrance into the centre is directly after turning into Palmer Street.

Our Centre is in the centre of Dubbo. We were built  by local builders and opened on the 15th of June 2004.

The staff demonstrate a high level of professionalism and the care and education of children is a high priority at all times.

The Centre, by design, has a home feel. The entrance leads to a hallway with each of the four rooms and kitchen coming off this hallway.

The Centre has two playgrounds with artificial turf. The small play area is for the younger children and the larger for the older children - although children often play together when we have family grouping times.

Goodstart Early Learning Dubbo Cobra Street is a family orientated centre that encourages siblings to play together between 6.30am and 9am and then again between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.

The Centre extends an open invitation to families  to visit and join us for special occasions such as Easter hat parades, Christmas parties and information evenings.

My name is Marguerite Tongue and I have been fortunate enough to have been the Centre Director of Goodstart Early Learning Dubbo East since the centre opened on 15th June 2004.

I have had over 20 years experience in working with children between the ages of 6 weeks to 18 years. Most of these years with the six weeks to six years age group. I have a degree in Early Childhood Teaching and a Diploma in Children Services.

I strongly believe that our positive attitude toward others is a strong basis for caring and educating children. Children under five need positive, non- biased, calm, honest  reliable, educated (in life and by books!) people as their role models. We at Goodstart Early Learning Dubbo endeavour to be these role models for all the children in our care.
