Travelling by car When coming from Kingston, turn left at the Mitre 10 fork in the road onto Algona Road. Just before you reach Roslyn Avenue at the bottom, turn left onto Opal Drive and right again onto Opal Drive and we are opposite the Blackmans Bay Shopping Centre.

Parking We have seven parking spaces in front of the centre and curbside parking is also available.
Goodstart Early Learning Blackmans Bay is located in close proximity to shops and schools. It is also only five minutes from Kingston, 10 minutes from Margate and 20 minutes from Hobart.  It is located only two minutes in from the main Channel Highway which traffic passes through to go to Kingston, Hobart and Margate.

The centre is not on a main road and has good fencing which gives excellent safety appeal. The centre has been open for four years. It is beautifully stocked with educational toys and equipment which is all supported by a purpose built centre.  We also have some lovely natural resources including tyres and logs which we have added to make a fun and exciting playground.

Our staff are qualified and experienced and we are all committed to providing high quality childcare and education.

Hi, my name is Nicole and I have worked in the Childcare profession for 19 years. I have an Associate Diploma in Childcare which I obtained 15 years ago, and completed my Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching in 2009. I have worked with a variety of age-groups over the years and have been a Centre Director at three different centres.

I have three children of my own who are aged five, ten and twelve and they have given me many life experiences that have benefited my career.

I am passionate about my centre and my staff and believe that we have a wonderful, caring and fun childcare centre, which is of a very high standard.
