Parking details

Parking We have a large car park located at the front of our centre. This provides a safe place for the children to enter and exit from cars.
Our centre is located centrally in the heart of Aitkenvale. The centre was established in 1993. Many of the staff, including myself, have been at the centre since it's opening.

The centre is divided into two sides by a very large shady veranda and playground.  Our younger children 6 weeks to 3 years are located on one side and each have their own playgrounds. On the other side our 3 to 6 year olds share a large natural shaded playground as well as a separate undercover playground (great for those raining days). We cater for before and after school care.

The Group Leaders in our centre are all diploma qualified. Our assistants hold either their Cert III or are currently studying.

Hi, my name is Kirstie Roberts and I am the Centre Director. I have worked in childcare since I was 15 years old. I started my childcare career as a floater, I then moved on to become an assistant, a group leader and I now hold the position of Centre Director. I have been at Aitkenvale for 20 years and have worked with several of the current staff for many years. I am married and have four children of my own and lots of pets.

I enjoy working with children, it is very rewarding and worthwhile. My team of staff is respectful and completely reliable. The best thing about my job is the opportunity it gives me to make valued friendships with staff, families and children.
